Happy New Year everyone!
We spent the better part of New Year’s Eve installing baby gates near the stairs. Grandma Alphie then babysat so we could go out to dinner and a movie. We saw “The Holiday,” which ended with a new year’s party, strangely enough. Yes, we were 2 of 6 people in a desolate mega movie complex in the suburbs when the clock struck midnight – a bit eerie, but we had a good time – including, of course, our 20 minutes of fevered, hand-cramping Ms. Pac Man and Galaga rounds (circa 1981) in the theater lobby. Boy are we getting old!
We’re looking forward to a visit from Grandma Becky this month, when she will see Roan for the first time. We will also celebrate Casey’s 37th birthday on January 23rd.
We wish everyone a great start to a new year.
Love, Lavina & Casey
Happy new year to you too. Evelyn here. As new parents we can appreciate the little events of life – dinner and a movie. Grandparents babysat for us tonight and we took in a movie – not the one we intended (scheduling snaphoo), but good enough. Have you seen “Happy Feet.” Highly recommend it for parents. Hasta la luego.
Adorable! He looks like a village person from “the grinch”.
