Raising Roan

Here’s our Autumn Tree going house to house with Da for the first time. Lavina made his costume, which got more mileage than we expected (ZooBoo, Red Canoe parade, and trick or treating in Rogers Forge), considering his immediate aim was to rip off every piece as soon as we got it on. Once he saw other kids wearing costumes, he caught on to the idea and wanted to be a part of it. However, we could see he was a bit confused, as he attempted to offer his own candy at several doors. He got to eat his first piece of candy (a green sucker), which was quite a memorable experience, evidenced the next morning by his screeching for his candy bucket.
